About Half Sour
Half Sour is a local, corner bar and restaurant that brings people in the community together to celebrate Printers Row, the South Loop, and Chicago as a whole. It’s a place of the people, with fine food and drink that we are proud to serve. We make bagels fresh everyday, delicious burgers and sandwiches are always available, we serve brunch and donuts on the weekends, and always have a full bar to wet your whistle. A half sour is a type of pickle that is fermented halfway through the fermentation process. This type of pickle is milder in taste and still retains some characteristics of the cucumber, such as a brighter green color and a crunchy texture. We favor the half sour pickle as a delicious snack and make our own version, here in house!
